In the previous chapters Alex had been captured know he had been dumped into a giant tank of water with a poisonous jelly fish. Alex thinks to use one of his gadgets that the lady in the gadget lab gave him. it is a bottle of cream that melts metal in seconds he applies it to the hinges and the tank breaks open. Alex only has one hour and fifteen minutes to get to London so he shoots a harpoon into the plane that was taking off and reels himself in. once hes inside he uses a gun he took from a guard to force the pilot to go to London. then he parachutes out into the science museum which is were the ceremony is being held. once inside he shoots the button that would activate all the stormbreakers and is congradulated by MI6. he is glad the whole ordeal is over and he leaves for home and is kidnaped on the way.
